About Kellie Vann:

Kellie Vann is an Oklahoma artist who grew up in Claremore with a Cherokee father and mother of British ancestry. Her art talent was recognized at a young age and she sold her first drawing when she was in eighth grade. While Kellie Vann does not specifically focus on a Native American art style, her work is heavily influenced by a heritage passed down from both parents. Kellie enjoys employing mixed media applications and geometric designs in her paintings, making her work easily recognizable.

Kellie has shown in numerous shows, venues and galleries for over 25 years, including the Cherokee Heritage Center in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and Tulsa's International Mayfest Invitational Gallery.

After residing in Tulsa for 20 years, in 2016 Kellie returned to Claremore to raise two children, two dogs, a turtle and rabbit, as well as focus on her art.
